African woven palm lids with individual and perfect geometric designs. These unusual lids were in fact used for cooking and preparation of food by the Touareg/Haussa or Songhaï People in Niger. They are made from palm tree leaves. The fibres are then dyed with parts of the tree such as bark, leaves and the roots. Stating the obvious but they make a great wall decoration when hung as a group.
