Suzani Cushions

Our Suzani fabrics are sourced in sprawling bazaars in Uzbekistan and Turkey. When we source the fabrics for our cushions, we look for different elements of what makes suzanis beautiful. Sometimes it’s precision and symmetry, other times it could be naivety of line, boldness and subject matter. Popular design motifs include sun and moon disks, flowers including tulips, carnations, and irises, leaves and vines, fruits such as pomegranates, and occasional fish and birds.
